People seemed to really enjoy our first ever car meet on Sunday 25 June. We had a great turnout of varied and interesting cars at our excellent venue, the Crowborough Rugby Club.
CCK Historic brought their historic Fire Engine The Frank Humphrey which was once in service with the Crowborough fire service. Paragon Porsche brought along some lovely Porsche sports cars which people enjoyed being able to sit in. Tunbridge Wells Motor Club brought several cars along incling a very early Austin Seven special and a rally car despite having broken the engine the day before.
We were also joined by The Langton Green Car Club, The Triumph Sports Six Club, East Sussex Morris Minor Club, 1066 Saxons and the Tunbridge Wells based Rolling Society.
We ran a raffle courtesy of Graham, the owner of a Model T Ford. The winners were treated to a ride in the car the following weekend.
