This years Golf Day raised a total of £1,270 of which £535 was from the raffle and £100 from the Putting Competition.
The event included a breakfast roll and hot drinks on arrival, 18 holes of golf and a two course dinner in the evening. The winning team, same as last year, was the Crowborough Beacon Bandits with 116 points. The second, third and fourth teams tied on a very close score to the winners of 111 points. The teams were from the Neville Crest & Gun, Tester & Jones, and Michael Abbs, a Scribe Property Management Client.
A longest drive competition, low handicap 7th hole, was won by Andrew Vickers of the Tester & Jones team. The high handicap winner was Oli English from the Neville Crest & Gun team.
The longest drive 18th Hole low handicap winner was Joe McGloin from the Neville Crest & Gun team and the high handicap winner on this hole was Oli English also from the Neville Crest & Gun team.
There was an evening meal with 59 people dining which followed the prize giving and raffle draw.
The whole event went very well and was blessed with good weather.
