Six teams took part in a very close competition with only one point between the winning team from Crowborough Beacon Golf Club and the second team from Tester and Jones.
Winning Team members were David Brown, Peter Adams, Nigel Smith and Phil Parker.
The teams took part in a four-ball event, which featured longest drive, a nearest the pin contest and a putting competition. Dinner in the clubhouse followed the days’ competition. There was also a raffle with lots of great prizes donated by 11 local businesses.
The Golf Club put on a great meal for our 45 diners. The club’s bar and waiting staff were excellent throughout the day and evening. We would like to extend our thanks to the club’s Secretary James Nairn who’s help made a very successful day.
Our sponsor Rotary Club, Heathfield & Waldron, was represented at the evening dinner by Laurence Muffett and his wife Sheila. The Wealden Dementia Action Alliance was represented by Debbie Peters and Amanda Hodge. It was great to have Debbie and Amanda at the event who presented the prizes and drew the raffle.
We would like to thank the following organisations for their generous sponsorship and donations to the raffle.

- Tester & Jones
- J Bennet Fish & Chip Shop
