Crowborough Beacon Golf Club is a premier golfing destination that promises both challenge and beauty, nestled in the East Sussex landscape. The 18 hole course, set amongst natural heather is renowned for its panoramic views and meticulously maintained green and offers golfers of all skill levels an exceptional experience.
Established in 1895, the club boasts a rich history and a tradition of excellence that continues to this day. featuring rolling fairways, strategic bunkers, and well-placed hazards that test even the most seasoned players. Each hole offers a unique challenge, with the elevation changes and the ever-present wind adding to the complexity of the game.
Event Highlights
- Registration and Welcome: The day begins with a warm welcome and registration at the clubhouse, where participants can enjoy a bacon roll and tea/coffee before heading out to the course.
- Halfway House: Players will have access to chilled beer and water and snacks at the half way house to keep their energy levels high.
- Competitions: In addition to the main event, there will be various competitions and challenges, such as longest drive, nearest to the pin, and a putting contest, offering exciting opportunities to win fantastic prizes.
- Award Ceremony: After the round, gather at the clubhouse for a celebratory evening meal and the award ceremony, where prizes will be distributed, and the winners will be recognised for their achievements.
- Charity Auction and Raffle: The day will conclude with a charity auction featuring a range of incredible items and experiences, with all proceeds going to support the Charity of the Day.
