A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today for Crowborough Rotary’s annual Car Meet. The sunshine and blue skies made for a fantastic day at the Crowborough Rugby Club.
With a record‑breaking 164 cars and motorcycles on display including a range from 1920s vintage cars through classic cars and modern day super cars. We also had a Fire Engine and Steam Engine on display and a range of motorbikes over the years.
Crowd favourites included the Ford Model T and the Austin 12 and two lucky raffle winners will be enjoying their own exclusive passenger rides in those two cars.
But beyond the impressive vehicles, the Car Meet is about community spirit — coming together to support a meaningful cause.
This year, we are proud to be fundraising for Taylor Made Dreams, and were delighted to welcome founder and CEO Suzi Mitchell, along with dedicated volunteers, who helped raise both awareness and vital funds for their work supporting children with life‑limiting illnesses.
Our thanks also go to the many volunteers, Rotary friends, and business partners who made the event possible, including RedShield Chartered Accountants.
We were excited to introduce a bouncy castle (from www.kbsinflatablekingdom.co.uk) and a classic ice cream van (www.indulgenticecream.co.uk) for the first time — both hugely popular with families (and with those of us needing to cool down!).
Thank you once again to everyone who attended, supported, volunteered, or showcased a vehicle. Your involvement helps us continue making a positive impact in our community.
