Crowborough Rotary Charity Golf Day 15th May 2026

Raising Funds for Taylor Made Dreams

Crowborough Rotary’s 6th Annual Charity Golf Day took place yesterday at Crowborough Beacon Golf Club. The event hosted 48 keen golfers and showcased the generosity of our community.

We are very grateful to Crowborough Beacon Golf Club for their outstanding support and hospitality. Their team helped the day run seamlessly and provided the perfect setting for this now annual event.

Our thanks also go not just to  all the golfers who took part with such enthusiasm but also to our sponsors and supporters, whose generosity continues to make this fundraiser possible year after year. Thanks too to Crowborough Mayor, Natalie Whittle who joined us for the prize giving dinner.

All proceeds from the day will support Taylor Made Dreams, a charity rooted in compassion and dedicated to helping children with life‑limiting illnesses fulfil their dreams. We were delighted to be joined by Suzi Mitchell, CEO of Taylor Made Dreams who made a moving and heartfelt speech.

Suzi shared the deeply personal story behind the charity — how it was created following the early loss of her son, Taylor, whose courage and imagination inspired the development of bucket dreams, sibling support, and a wide range of services that now help families across Crowborough and the Southeast.

She spoke passionately about the importance of small, regular donations from individuals and businesses. These ongoing contributions, she explained, are the lifeblood of the charity — the steady support that keeps Taylor’s legacy alive and ensures that families continue receiving the emotional and practical help they need.

Her words reminded everyone present that this event is about far more than golf. It’s about community, compassion, and standing beside families during their most difficult moments.
